Activity and Life Skills
Activity and Life Skills
Recovery does not happen only in the group room. Our program builds in time for teens to move, play, and practice. Recreation and activity groups get youth doing things that feel good and meaningful again, whether that is a game, movement, a creative project, or time outdoors, which is one of the most effective ways to counter depression and withdrawal. Life skills groups are hands-on, covering areas such as preparing food, managing money, healthy routines, and daily self-sufficiency. Teens leave with skills they can use at home that week.
