Life can be really tough — especially as a teen. Whether your teen Is dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, or just feeling like things are spinning out of control, you don't have to figure it out alone. Wayfinder Health has programs made just for teens ages 12–17 who need more than one therapy session a week, but don't need to stay overnight at a facility.
And if your teen also has an intellectual or developmental disability (I/DD) — we've got you covered too. We're one of the few programs that specializes in supporting both.

Wayfinder Family Services is the place to turn for people facing the greatest challenges. We provide expert, individualized support and services to children, youth and adults, from those who have vision loss or profound special needs to foster youth with serious medical conditions or trauma, and their families.

Medical Director, Dr. Minoo Mahmoudi
Dr. Mahmoudi is a board certified psychiatrist with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She is a fellow of Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and board certified in adult psychiatry, and child and adolescent psychiatry in Canada. She attended medical school in Iran. She then went to Canada after graduation from medical school. She joined psychiatry residency program at university of Manitoba, Canada in 2009, and completed her residency training in 2014. She completed a one year fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at university of Manitoba. She then joined the department of psychiatry at university of Manitoba as a staff faculty where she worked as an inpatient and outpatient psychiatrist. She then moved to Toronto, and worked as a staff psychiatrist at Youthdale treatment centre. She provided care to children and their families, and adults in Toronto. She then moved to United States with her family. She completed 2 years of child and Adolescent psychoanalytic psychotherapy training at New Centre for Psychoanalysis in Los Angeles.
She has worked as a psychiatrist in Los Angeles area since 2019. She worked as an outpatient psychiatrist in Community Psychiatry in 2019-2022. She has been a consultant for eating disorder medical stabilization unit at Torrance Memorial Medical Centre since 2019; she has worked as a consulting psychiatrist for Embark behavioral Health in Child and adolescent IOP/ PHP setting in 2023-2026. She is a medical director for Recover Integrity since 2025, and just recently joined Wayfinder Family Health as a medical director for child and adolescent IOP/PHP.
Dr. Mahmoudi is experienced in working with children and their families; not only in assessment, and pharmacotherapy treatment, but also providing parenting and behavioral strategies, family and individual therapy. She enjoys working with children and adults, with various concerns including but not limited to ADHD, ASD, anxiety, depression, bipolar, personality disorders, trauma, eating disorder and schizophrenia. She believes in holistic approach, and has experience in different modalities of psychotherapy, including supportive psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy( CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy( DBT), interpersonal therapy( IPT), Psychodynamic psychotherapy, and family therapy. Dr. Mahmoudi strives to provide a safe and healing environment to her patients, and their families.
On her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, and working out.
Program Director, Steven Frausto
Steven Frausto, LCSW, is the Clinical Director of Wayfinder Family Services’ Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). With more than 15 years of experience serving children, adolescents, and families, Steven has dedicated his career to helping young people navigate complex emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges. His background includes clinical supervision, direct therapy, foster care services, prevention and early intervention programs, and leadership of large-scale behavioral health programs. Steven is trained in evidence-based practices including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), Managing and Adapting Practice (MAP), and Seeking Safety, ensuring that treatment is individualized, family-centered, and grounded in proven clinical approaches. As a bilingual clinician fluent in English and Spanish, he is committed to making high-quality mental health care accessible and culturally responsive for diverse families. Known for his collaborative leadership style and deep commitment to youth well-being, Steven partners closely with caregivers and clinical teams to help young people build resilience, strengthen coping skills, and achieve lasting success at home, in school, and in their communities.
Clinical Counselor, Dianna Diaryan
Dianna Diaryan is an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC) who earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from California State University, Los Angeles, and her Master of Arts in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness from New York University. She has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in community mental health, crisis intervention, and trauma-informed settings. Her therapeutic style integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trauma-informed care, and a multicultural approach. She tailors treatment to each client's unique experiences, cultural background, and goals, empowering them to navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, stress, and interpersonal challenges with confidence and self-compassion.
